The center is located between Rt. 50 and College Parkway in the community of Whispering Woods. Situated in the center of the Broadneck Peninsula, the center is minutes from Anne Arundel Community College, the Bay Bridge (Eastern Shore), and Annapolis, the seat of our county and state governments.

The Annapolis Center (Whispering Woods) is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The center accepts children from 18 months to 10 years of age. It is currently licensed for 82 children. Joy In Learning provides two snacks per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Breakfast is available for an additional charge. Children bring a lunch from home. If it requires heating, the staff can accommodate.
